High School Education in Canada

Ontario High School Education:
Duration and Grades: The high school program in Ontario lasts 4 years and continues from Grade 9 (9th grade) to Grade 12 (12th grade).
Diploma: Upon completion of the program and meeting all requirements, students are awarded the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
Flexible Start Option: It is not mandatory to start your education in Canada to receive an OSSD. For instance, if you have completed Grade 11 in your home country, you can complete Grade 12 in Canada to earn the OSSD.
Additionally, Canadian high schools also support students' social and cultural development. Schools offer a wide range of clubs, sports activities, and art events that students can participate in. This allows students not only to excel academically but also to develop their social skills.
